Based on a true story, a chemical spill has forced the town of Times Beach to evacuate, leaving abandoned buildings and a dioxin incinerator behind. A lot of cover, a lot of action. Poor visibility in the burning dioxin incinerator makes it hard to keep the Zone without help from your teammates on the perimeter. Any weapon does good on this map. Good luck and don't breath too deeply!

This open sea battle map has a 2 level heavily defended base for each team and a cargo supply ship to fight over. Oil platforms provide great sniper locations. All flags are on the ship, and in the TKOTH version, the ship is the zone. Good map to practice flying skills and a couple vessels for the Navy guys! Infrared armored base guns help cover your teammates during takeoff.

A vintage DF1 map modified and rescaled for better playablility in DFX. Red and Blue teams deploy in the desert to get flags from 18 centrally located storage buildings. You'll want to keep an eye on your GPS map for direction because you wont have a lot of time to search for flags while you're in the alley! Good map for all types of shooters, originally intended as a SAW close quarter map, but peel back and provide support with any other weapon!

An Alberta clipper (high intensity snow storm) has hit Souls Harbor and has frozen essential cargo ships in the bay. The enemy has raided the supplies and taken over the dock. This map also features a custom lighthouse. You can get on the roof if you figure out how.
I know some ppl don't like playing night maps, so I've also included all 3 game types in a daytime setting, so you get 6 maps for the price of ONE!

Pick up a flag from the cargo ramp of a C-130 and parachute down to the flagpole with layers of planes to use on your descent but beware, the enemy could have stopped along the way down. Flagpole is only a few meters from the flag horizontally, but 500m vertically. You fall faster with your chute closed, use the planes to drop quicker. I tried for 2 months to get the teleport command to work for Red team, but to no avail, so I removed all teleports. The only way to get back on the C-130 is to respawn there. I usually like the more realistic approach to mapping, but this map is just PLANE fun!

Based on the explosive War Rock arena, this enclosed street map is a gunfighter's dream. A lot of cover yet close quarters for fast paced action. Sniper perches for each team, a market hall and a store front passageway on each side make this map exceptionally fun for those who like to be sneaky. You're going to have to be on your toes for this map, or you'll be wearing a tag on your toe at the end of it. Good luck, soldier, LET's GO!

WFA Exxon is a close quarters map and takes place in a remote oil transfer station. I altered the hit points of the oil tanks so it takes about four AT4 hits to ignite one. This should add a little more suprise to the players, since you're never really sure how many shots it's already taken. A good close quarters map, but also a capable sniping map if you are resourceful. No Mod needed, just unzip to your DF Xtreme folder and you're ready to go!

This CTF map is staged in the urban setting of Somalia with 23 city blocks to fight in. This map is so fun we have often played it and forgot to collect flags, we just drove through the streets hunting, shooting and chasing each other. It features a wide variety of vehicles along with 4 fortified blackhawk choppers. A lot of destroyable items in this map, once it's over it'll look like a war zone. A drive-by shooting has never been so fun! Unzip all contents to your DF Xtreme game folder and enjoy!

Ice Castles is a really fun CTF battlefield with snow and water and twin towers combined by a courtyard. Battle inside and out, above and below water and fight your way to the mountain top, blow up walls, search inside and atop bunkers and blow up barrels to find hidden flags. A good clean easy to play map.

Pump Jack is an enclosed CQC map that takes place in a two story refuelling train station. A lot of shooting lanes and many places to bunker down and so far it is shown to be a heavy casualty map. The DM map is a must for any collection, it plays very well with at least 20 spawn locations. Modelled after a Combat Arms map of the same name but modified for DFX playability, and we always like to add a few new wrinkles.

A small outpost sets the scene for this major action shooter. You'll need to jump walls, climb towers, run around bunkers and walls, blast through the perimeter and fight off the enemy in this fast paced death map. It's CTF but this map is a blood bath every time, but beware, snipers can make it to the distant hills. Smooth, clean and lightweight features makes this map a MUST for your shooter collection. Dedicated to all you old school Saws & Laws shooters out there.

WFA Lumberjack is a fenced in cage match based in a thick grove of trees with a couple of suprises. As the map begins, you will be able to SEE the other team through the trees. As you advance forward with guns blazing, the trees fall as they are hit, literally being SAW'ed down. Fortunately the forest turns into a jungle as the trees are SAW'ed down. Oh.. there's a few more suprises included.

An extremely fast paced close quarters map with high kills, insane mayhem and loads of fun. All spawns are inside the circle, along with all flags. The close flags are relatively easy to get, but the far flags are more and more difficult as time expires. Your enemy will throw everything at you but the kitchen sink on this one so be ready to fight tooth and nail. It's a short map that breaks up the server order with something different. With 16 players, this map is both devastating and halarious at the same time.This map is also great for knifing tournaments.

In the CO-OP version; Saruman's army of Uruk-hai has been sent to destroy the world of men, starting with the epic Battle of Helm's Deep. The freedom of mankind depends on you and your friends... and trust me, you WILL need help on this CO-OP map. Saving the world of man isn't going to be easy. For greatest effect, play this map with tracers ON.

In the TKOTH version; the war of the ring takes place in the Hornburg. Destroy the enemy to keep the zone. Defend Helm's Deep or die trying.

This series of maps is a remake of the original DF1 maps based on the Ice Floes terrain, with an additional gametype- a Deathmatch version of the King of the Hill style. This one of the most fun DF1 maps when played in KH or DM mode. Unlike the stock DFX version, you wont be running to find a target here, you'll be running for a place to hide!
