Microsoft Defender Anti-Virus / Smart Screen (and possibly a couple others) will detect this as a virus & you'll have to allow it to download and run. It's not a virus or trojan and will not allow attackers to hack your computer. It does not open any ports and won't allow anyone to connect to the app (unless the app has the UDP report server which is ONLY active if you explicitly enable it and is not on by default and can't be activated remotely). I can't do anything about the virus warnings. Most Anti-Virus software will not throw any warnings. The app works by connecting to your games process and reading / writing to the games memory while it's actively running. It sends the "heartbeat" back to NovaHQ/Novaworld.cc that contains your server information so it can be shown in the lobbies. Modern virus scanners can detect the functionality of apps before they are run and from their analysis it certainty seems sketchy. I did not program any backdoors, trojans, viruses or personal data collection into this app. However, if you do not trust software, you should not run it.
