basic the whole shopping center is sinking real slow, but its is the whole shopping center, not one end of it.

when the water table is really low the ground open up and cave in, ground is mostly sandy type soil in Florida.

think of it like a under ground river thats is in the ground when it empty the ground above fall into the empty space you get sinkhole.

This was a four lane highway and they let it sit for about a month without doing anything. Everytime we passed it, the crater grew bigger.
