i have downloaded a file and placed it in a folder on my spare drive, inside the folder is other stuff i need to keep...when i try to view inside the folder it closes everything and my desktop refreshes...i cant get to keep the folder open and delete the file...does anyone know how i can get to it to delete it....

have you tried booting up in safe mode?then deleting

nope ..it doesnt work..i still open the folder containing the file and my desktop disappears and im asked again if id like to continue in safe mode or restore

u caould delete it through DOS unless u have the drive formated as NTFS :/
