the higher the res the less i can see...so i play at 800x600 for some black dots to even the gameplay out cuase i got tired of being killed and never seeing who did it!

but i use 1024 x 768

I dont see a huge difference in the resoulutions in terms of graphical excellence. I mean the game is not as pretty as quakeIII, but I play 800x600 (I think) because it does make enemies easier to spot

untill i got my new comp i was in 600x800 and lmao the blak dots i can see for miles and they are huge! lmoa right now i can play in 1024 x 768 with high quality but i dont see much of a diif between that and 800x600 other then there is no black dots in 1024 x 768. This whole game changed now for me that i can run in highest settings with no vid lag! Graphics are nice! And i found that i can kill people easier for some reason.

DF1 has a max on res 800x600. After reading this forum i changed to 640x480 and indeed i see black dots. But on average i still have no clue where from snipers take me out
When i use scope or binocs i have to stand still, perfect sittin duck for snipers.
I figured out that at start i needed my scope to much. So now i'm training myself in shoot without scope. SAW and DM.
Learn alot about strafin, jumpin and go prone

Maybe when i get the hang of it i switch to snipin and learn to kill in one shot (and startin to understand snipers). But i'm not sure it will work i've got no patience.

Tip to all: read the snipers manual in the tutorial section!

Me and a couple other people have noticed that if you play at 640x400 it is WAY WAY WAY Easier to kill glitchers. Plus I also put all my video card settings on LOW that way I have no maps that are laggy, I haven't played a laggy map in like 4 months. Plus you play with all your settings low it can make up for having a slower line if your frames are moving faster, and if you have a fast connection it makes you even FASTER. Speed and movement is they key to staying alive. I don't know why I am giving away my secrets, you guys better not start killing me.

Not true. you dont have to sit still . Bring out your binocs then start jumping sideways not strait up.. when you are in the air let go of all your arrow keys and you can use your binocs for a sec... once you get good at it then you will be able to spot them the first time you jump ..
