With this map manager, there isn't any need to create shortcuts or closing the Manager, etc. Everything is already build in,

You can leave XMM running while you are: Making , Testing and even Playing out your maps.

-The ability to select/unselect WAC files. (For Atmospheric FX, Snow, Lightning and Earthquake)
-An option to move all maps to newly created folder: xmmapz
-Restore default maps.
-Make back-up's of your precious demores.pff
-Execute DF:BHD right from XMM
-Execute C4-Editor right from XMM
-Maplist autmatically updated every 15 seconds
-No need to close the manager, just leave it open
