Need help with mission editor

Please don't suggest NILE, I absolutely hate it.

I am trying to use the mission editor that comes with DFX2. For some reason when I try to go to the 3D Wireframe view, ANY key I press on my kebyoard (even capslock and numlock) forces the wireframe view to close.

It works fine in DFBHD, but for some reason not DFX2.

Can anyone help?
