I am so sick of these elections!! I keep getting recorded calls from the candidates...the more calls I get for the candidate the less likely I am to vote for them, jerks.

I just ignore it all... I hang up on the recordings and toss the stuff they send me in the mail with out looking at it - i know who I'm voting for and nothing will change it, so why bother with all the junk lol

I can pretty much tell when they are political calls, I just don't answer then and ignore them. Not that big of a deal to me.

for me it shows on the caller ID as "unknown caller" or "toll free number". every time I pick it up it is usally a recording......

Anywho, I just get sick of having to get up and answer the phone when I am in the middle of something.

thats what answering machines are for

there is a tone that you can record to your machine that supposedly will cause the telemarketers (some of them at least) to remove your phone number from their list automatically - never tried it so don't know if it works or not.

Hmm, well if they call, it leaves a message on the answering machine alright. It is that annoying "If you'd like to make a call, please hang up and dial the operator....eh, eh eh.......

i got a live person call me asking me if i would vote for (R) for the white house. i told them stop calling me i already voted and get lost

I didn't like eather one of the candidates but I would much rather have McCain up there then a freakin' terrorist who will pull the troops out of iraq. will lets be prepared for more terrorist attacks...... and he will take our weapons away that would have help us defend ourselves.
