COD4 Boycott: May 25

Alright guys there has been a gamer boycott set forth on COD4. We all have seen the bugs that haven't been fixed since November. So please as a friend I ask you all to participate to help send the message to Infinity Ward.

Quote:
Here's what it takes to get a game fixed.

Everyone has to boycott the game on the same exact day.

May 25th simply play a different game.

It's really rather simple to do, email everyone you know who has COD4 to the boycott message that has the date, they forward it on etc etc. Even if everyone doesn't stop, you'll be surprised sometimes at how many people are so pissed off that they all throw in a different game for that day.

It doenst hurt to try everyone, and your stats for now playing 1 day will be fine.

Doesn`t matter to them, they already have your money....if you skip playing one day how is that going to hurt them?

my thoughts exactly atholon.

like everything else once you buy it they figure it isnt their problem anymore, i had a freind that bought a car like that and they went back to ask a question about it and the sales guy said it isnt his problem once you drive it off the lot.

but it could hurt future sales if they screw their customers over, i have seen places go under for screwing their customers.

yeah... they just know that you will play on the 24th and the 26th.

Probably a more effective thing would be to have every one send polite emails and letters to them...

I haven't seen to many successful boycotts - either the boycotts don't last long enough to make a point, or there is enough people who don't join the boycott that it really doesn't matter.

only thing i didnt like about the game was the fact you was basicly stuck in a maze and have to go about it only 1 way, i dont really like that kindof controll but whining wont make it better, lol.

The only way for this to work is to stop playing the game PERIOD and do not buy another game from the publisher/developer. If you don't like it then stop playing it..

what bugs? lol

i haven't really seen any bugs in the game and yea Activision already has our money so it would be kinda pointless because the only people that it is really hurting is the buyers and the people who own the servers
