when i was a kid 12yrs there was a old women down the street from us, i go over their place like 02:00hrs in the morning and try a key in their front door if it fit, i break it off the into key hole plug-up with super glue of some type.

most keys will fit a lot of doors they may not open it but do make a great keyhole plug.

think back then blank keys were like 0.15c

if they change the lock on the door you can always buy another blank key that would fit the door

i use to hate that old bat she stick her nose into everything and every one who live near her home, every one was fair game to her with-in 1/2 of her home
