My comp sucks

for a while now my computer locks up and just freezes or gives me the blue screen of death and says its dumping stuff or somethin i do not have a lot of hard drive space like 1 gb and thats it and i have like 700mb of memory i just need to know what will make it freakin stop locking up

so hang on, your hard drive capacity is 1 gigabyte? or thats how much you have left? and your total RAM(memory) is 700 megabytes? As far as I know, the blue screen of death is caused by poorly-written device drivers, faulty memory, a corrupt Registry, or incompatible DLLs. What operating system are you using?

If you really have a 1 gb hard drive and 700mb memory, i would suggest you to upgrade.

its a bootleg windows xp i dont know what happend in the install proccess of it but it works but i dont get windows updates or cant get updates on like windows media play b/c it says its not a valid windows

You cannot get any legit automatic updates if windows identifies your copy as a bootleg copy, you will have to DL them manually, and some of the update you DL manually won't take. And one of your problems are that you are using a pirated copy of windows.

best buy a computer or build it your self its not hard to do.

tigerdirect.com they have a telephone number a tollfree number you can ask they help you get the system you like to build today stander they hook you up with the right hardware.

not like gateway or other slap it together your stuck with it besides a high price as will.

cheaper to build it, then you can add more to it later on when you have the money to spare for it.

on that computer i would have to say windows 2000pro would be better for it, then windows xp pro would be

windows xp works better with a lot of ram and high-end CPU.
were windows 2000pro handle low end computer systems really good.

they still make update for windows 2000pro as will.
look into that.

building a computer is not really hard to do,
mother broad you would have to match it with the right CPU, Ram cards, video cards for it. power supply unit as will 459w up 600w is sweet.

tell your mom and dad that your windows is pirated and they are be in trouble if some one find out about it! they may go out and buy the real deal at a store.

on the other hand don't have them buy a OS Windows Vista CD for that old computer waste of money big time for it. the computer hardware can't handle Windows Vista ether.

1 GB hard drive space is not enough for modern applications such as Windows XP to run on.

on note any pirated software programes are not the way to go.

you make get into trouble with the law for it and family be in big time trouble for it as will.

you can look around town for a computer repairshop some time they will have a cheaper computer system that is way better then you have right now and they (mostly) don't use pirated software at all.

yeah i see the point its a real cd i installed it on but it just didnt load right idk and it thinks its wierd

will you can always call Microsoft up tell them you re-instill it on your system, but then again if the Key code have been use by many people then they can tell its been share around the world real fast too.

keep in-mind the limits on computer system hardware that is needed to run windows xp family.

keep in mind they may or may not ask for a key-code before they do anything.

basic your computer system is not made for running windows xp at all.

as for instilling it from a Cd will thats can be copy as will share with other, unless it has a windows logo hologram on it. don't count as the real deal.
