I didnt see Metallica in that list...HOW DARE YOU Their old songs are great. Get those (Ride the Lightning, ...And Justice for All, etc)

Lets see...
Pantera
Arch Enemy (a singing screaming chick in a heavy metal band? Its the awesommest thing you've ever heard! And no, it doesnt sound like that boring Evanescence)
Lamb of God (might be too heavy for you but oh well)
Caliban (they sound like Killswitch...sorta)
In Flames (they're good)
Disturbed
Motorhead
Rage Against the Machine (like Linkin Park except they aren't a bunch of sooks being taken over by those jerk rappers. RATM are awesome)
Sugar Ray (they're hard to find these days)

pantera and metallica are a given if you like metal. Lamb of God is pretty much way to heavy for me and hell yea i like Rage Against the Machine

after listening to Caliban for a little bit they're sounding pretty sweet...might go obtain some songs 'from a friend' *cough*

Also, look out for a band called Heifer. They're fairly new so im still having trouble finding them. They are alternate metal and they sound awesome, especially the song "Waiting for the Judas Belt". They're Aussies too.

its not about being too heavy, i love heavy stuff. Devil Driver sounds a lot like Bleeding Through, which is good. It's just the high pitched death screaming that I don't really care for. Stuff that makes my eardrums pop like faggy black metal and emo shit
