Trucks rear end each other
This is a problem I have had since I figured out how to make vehicles move, way back to DF2 and LW. When I make a number of vehicles move in a convoy, then stop at a destination, they just accordion into each other. I have tried to make the waypoint distance bigger, hoping that they would spread out, but that didn't work. Until now I have just used a single vehicle in my maps because of this, but I have a new SP mission in the works that needs a convoy, and I would like to avoid the trucks hitting each other.
It is kind of ironic-last friday I had my first car accident. It was fortunately less than a fender-bender, but it was-you guessed it-a rear end collision. My fault. Whoops.....

IF: ssn(lead vehicle) reaches wp THEN: redirect group (the convoy) to wp 0,0 |

I did this:
![]() and they still did this: ![]() Events don't always seem to trigger. I am not sure why.

make an area trigger instead of a wp event

the bloodey fart with that event craputto. just make separate waypoint lists.

![]() I tried that, and still nothing. I will try separate waypoint lists. next. I'm going on vacation, so I won't be able to get back to this for a week, so hold tight. BTW, I tried to set SSN velocity to 0 when each SSN reaches it's waypoint, but that doesn't seem to do anything.
