JOTR and JOE Sysdump.txt trouble

Since this is my first post ill make it interesting

Im having trouble with updating these two games.

when i instal and play JOTR and update it to the last version

it works ok. I can play normaly online and ofline without

problems. The update instals normaly.

But when i install JOE and update it, the update reports a

mistake it tells me that a file couldnt be decompressed or

there was a decompression fault, but finishes the install

process normaly. And i have the same problem if i update

from the game.

And then when i try to play online i get sysdump.txt error

when im 13 or 14seconds!!, in the map and it happenes

every time i try to play either JOTR or JOE. And the only way

to play normal again is to uninstall both and then reinstall

just JOTR.

Anny sugestions???


And dont say to post my comp configurations because this

isnt my comp. trouble its a problem within the game or with

update system.

And i have so say that this is the first time ive had this problem.

try uninstalling, delete the folder, reinstalling and downloading the update from this site.
a fresh install always fixed my nova game troubles, try that and come back and see if it fixed it, gl

Uff i finaly got it to work thanks to Scrubber from the NovaWorld forum. Here is how he Advised me:



To correct the problem as it now stands I suggest the following:
Uninstall both the original game and the expansion pack and then delete the respective folders.
Reboot and then disable any anti-virus and spyware programs that usually run in the background.
Reinstall JOTR and update it. The update process will extract approximately 56MB of data from the 149MB available.
Launch the game and configure a profile for your character. Be aware though that a profile only contains the weaponry and character skin you propose to use in a game. Do that for both "JO" and "Rebel" teams.
To create a tag, click the "My Character" button in the final menu where you would normally click the "Games" button to get the server list.
Finally, join a game and make sure everything works properly.
If it does, exit the game and then install the escalation pack.
Run the v1.6.9.2. patch again to extract the remaining files necessary to update the expansion pack.



I folowed these directions and it works.
i downloaded the last patch from these site, but havent used any download accelerator, patched the game and the only problem i encountered was when i tried to patch JOE. The patch just didnt want to succesfuly finisc patching, so i used the ingame updater ant now it works.

So now im happy
