Over the past months on Pc-Cillin I have seen three types of attacks which are NetBIOS Browsing, Pings, and Smurfs.
If anyone knows any more post them here. It is vital we know this stuff so we can protect our systems even further.

man get avast! anti-virus program and stop trying thing that don't work 100% Pc-Cillin is not the top dog at all.

get Avast! home version it is total coverage of you system and do a lot more then any other do.

Firewalls and Antivirus stop NetBIOS attacks

avast is totally cover [block virus] web-site and url out there in the internet crap it too. for a free service software you get all the full package without buying it at all. they are the top dogs.

Webroot Spysweeper. Now cover rookit crap too. spyware/adware/trojan even ads-trojan horse too.

Avast antivirus> everything you can think of it covers it.

zonealarm is not bad for a firewall but i think there are better ones out there, but at lease it updates do come out for it a lot too.

NetBOIS think you can block it from others from editing it. don't know what windows you have or details on blocking from others, maybe some one knows how to change the setting so no one can edited it at all, other then you.

but drop Pc-Cillin i think its a fair program, but not one of the best around.
