Woah, that's very strange. Lots of strange weather patterns for the USA lately.

Not just you. The world!
My mum's place in the middle of teh desert in outback Oz was hit by a savage cyclonic type storm just last night. Tress ripped up, holes in concrete walls etc.
I wasnt there, but got the call last night.

Tornado they can come all year around there has to be big storm for them, even in a winter storm a big one. they mostly seen around thunder storm but really what would a thunder be in the winter time? a blizzard right?

i have seen lighting in a winter storm were it snow so why not a Tornado it all winds forum up high were a down draft forum a Tornado.

but it is true there very little amount of them in med-winter time.

you can see them? reason is they pick up things, i seen 1-Tornado in Ohio and 5-dirt devils. in Dec.1978 we was liven on a farm back them days. a Tornado taken the barn down 1/2 of it was gone, the house was not hit by them at all. was only 100ft way from each other. that was weird to see and a bit scary to see it so close.

I know but still, usually in the summer time...rarely in the winter. I live in N.W. Michigan...we get blizzards like you wouldnt believe...I have seen thunder storms/ligtning storms in the winter...its wicked. However I have also seen a day in april where it was 70* and the next day 4 1/2 of snow fell...24 hours apart.

Crazy weather!
