i was mesing round with the ammo files on bhd the other day trying to figure out why me ballistics were off severly. any way i looked at the velocity on the m21 7.62x51 or .308, i looked at the speed and this is what it said AMMO_M21_762HPBT

862 that is bad is it like mesured in meters per sec if it is it is ok, but if its in foot per second thats obserd, a real .308 round hpbt at 168gr is atleast 2600fps, i mean 862 is a crappy velocity for a pellet gun, and thisis supposed to be a sniper rifle

thats about right, but don't try to edite them any you may get banned in stats servers ok.

what it is they are incoded for the software so the speed maybe listed in the manner you can go to tech support in novaworld ask them one on one, they may give you a better asker.

they take in count how good it hit targets at range and and the recoil per-rounds going out of the weapon. so that number is what it mount up to. not to count how it do with wins blowing. so that number maybe higher do to other thing going on.

ok i found what it is.
its in yards per second.
862yard per second X 3 = 2586 foot per second.
and to convert fps into yards per second............................................
2586fps devided by 3 = 862 yard per second
