To All Gfx Designers -- Must Read!

Hi all,

its been braught to my attention that there is some new software out there which will convert Jpeg or GIF back to PSD format.. meaning that when you've finished a sig and say a sig ripper comes on they can then open the program and then convert the jpeg or gif back into psd and then edit as they choose.. a way to stop this and only way i know of so far is before u save the psd to jpeg for publishing is lock all layers in the PSD then save then save as jpeg.. or if u can do a watermark then it doesnt matter as u cannot edit a watermarking software

the link for the prog.. is below so all designers can take alook and come to a conclusion themself without reading just my veiws

http://www.verypdf.com/artprint/docu...eg-to-psd.html

if u wish to learn how to do a multi layer watermark without having the software heres the link below

Hmmm... That program does convert JPG back to PSD, but - i know one thing. It won't create layers for you. In a JPG file, nothing is saved to tell the program what layer is what.

So, you'd be better off to just open the JPG up with photoshop yourslelf instead of going through the trouble of convering it to PSD... Lol...

i cant do anything...all it can do is convert but big whoop it wont be more then 1 layer, so its pretty much ripping the same exact way, but this time you have a .psd.

the only reason this software was created is so that they can resave the jpeg with a better resolution or format for printing, really nothing to be alarmed about

Lol guys...

There is NO way to get more than one layer after converting to a .PSD - you're only going to get ONE layer.

Lol, every JPG you save would be like 3 MBs big if it contained all the layers
