dissapeared! where do i go to make them come back!

If you've XP, you might have accidently CLEARED them. I think there's an option to do that. Might want to look at the help to undo that.

- Turn computer off, turn back on. Start tapping F8 and then hightlight safe mode and press enter. Press enter for XP as operating system. Click on administrator. Click on No on next screen. Roll back to an earlier day.

Try right clicking the desktop and goto Arrange Icons -> Show desktop Icons.

it is also possible that the desktop clean up wizard cleared them out, if so there should be a folder on your desktop named Unused Desktop Shortcuts. But it usually asks first...

man go to desktop> right click-on desktop> down the listing see "Properities.." click-on it> display should come up>See "Desktop" click-on it> Customize desktop [button] click-on it.

now should see all the desktop icons in here you can change the way they look too or enable them to be shown on desktop.

uncheck this item not really needed, you know how to delete shortcuts


thats ok i deleted a game (NFS:U) to come back later still see the shortcut for it, try to use it to play it dang the game is gone? oh crap now i remember un-instill it totally.
