need a list...
ok, im hoping to get a custom built computer for my birthday in october, thing is... i aint got a clue what i should have in it lol.
im hoping to get back into DF with it so a good graphics system would help, but also somthing practical, as i need to do school work etc. please post your list of components etc... im looking to spend about £1,000 on it (hopefuly) |

![]() but there is no real point in speccing it now as the parts will be much cheaper in Oct and you will be able to buy different/better parts then say i know it doesnt help much, hmm. dual core AMD's will be out early nxt year i think, things will change big then. |

Once again I need the currency rates.
![]() I think that if you're building a decent PC you can do it for under $1500 USD. Lemme see...64 bit mobo is around $80-90, Ram...2 gigs is around $300 ...GFX card $400...hard drive $60....case..$90....processer $300. That is about $1300....if you look around I bet you can find better deals.

An easy guesstimator is that one US dollar is worth half as much as one pound.
