60th Anniversary of V.E. day!

Today it is 60 years since the end of world war 2 in Europe and I'm taking this time to say a silent prayer for all those brave allied soldiers who made this victory possible but did not live to witness the end for themselves.

We all have much to thank them for so God bless and keep them.

Those soldiers will never be forgotten. They were true heroes. Too bad it took so much bloodshed but freedom prevailed!!

every soldier is a hero. They put their lives on the line to protect whats right, even if it means helping a friend in need. Evin if they've never experienced combat, they chose that job to do these things.

God Bless the VETS of WWII. They were my child hood heros and still to this day wish I could be half the man of those that made the ultimate sacrifice for the entire World. I can't say enough about them. No words I could fatham would express the true essence of the word Hero that they truely are and mean to me. I am honored to have served in the same Military as them. Those who take that oath, we are a band of brothers.

I can only hope to Guard the Gates of Heaven someday like my DI's used to tell us that is what Marines do.
