MSN Hotmail Help

Ok for the past few months ive had problems deleting mail,sending mail,or writing mail unless i turn off WebTrap for PC Cillin i cant do these things for MSN!!! It use to work fine till i hada reinstall everything on my computer and it started ever since i got MSN Back!!! Some stupid error like this will happen how can i fix this so i can send mail,delete it,and write it without having to turn webtrap off on and off for PC Cillin Antivirus Software!!!!!

This error sign is at the bottom of the internet explorer untill i turn off WebTrap and refresh. I just tried reconfiguring my active X controls and java to allow safe marked ones. But see thats the thing Web Trap on the PC-Cillin filters Incoming javascript and active x that might contain malacious code.

Can you please be more specific? What I kinda get from above is:

1. You using MSN as ISP??
2. Having issues with mail send and receive?
3. Issue could be related to Antivirus?

Errors like this usually happen, IMHO, due to either Server side issues, ISP issues, or settings on client side. Please make sure the former two are working ok first.

No i use Bellsouth as my ISP!!

Id say its my settings on the internet not allowing some of the javascript settings for msn because when i turn off webtrap and refresh says javascript this javascript that in the status bar so i may needa make ssure my internet settings arent disallowing me to!! May be firewall may need figure out what ip or soi need add to my firewall to allow through it!!!

When you say MSN? Do you mean MSN Explorer? or MSN Email account?

Ok heres what i mean when i go to check my email by clicking the link at the top of everyones MSN Messenger it says like 14 new messages well when i click it and it loads i get that error icon at the bottom of the page and it wont go away unless i turn webtrap off on my Virus Scanner. Then i have to reenable it when im done to keep malacious coded java and active x applets from entering my computer it gets annoying i used PC Cillin back then and had no problem with it on before. Id say its something to do with my internet zone settings for active x or java because also i cant even use any programs like McAfee Free Scan it wont let me so i configured my active x settings like it said and it wont even still let me. Im going to try emptying my restore folder and see if it helps because i never did that yet like chief said to i havent had time forgot or there is a storm when im going to so im going to tonight and see if it helps any!!!! If theres a virus or old virus files in the restore folder it might be causing some confliict with that so i redownloaded Spy Sweeper finally and i scanned my computer of all adware that may of hidden from SpyBot still has the msn error so it wouldnt hurt because ive got to do it anyways!!(Empty Restore Folder I Mean)

Looks like you need to go to "PC Cillin" site and read their FAQs and try their settings. If that still doesn't work you need to contact the company about it.

Also try doing the C:/_retore folder solution Chief suggested.
