something happen to you that made you really bad at the whole world.

me i was to be marry to a Church going lady in S-Korea name of Chung Young Ae------- (leaving some of the name out) we was to be marry in 45days. i was In Korea DMZ 1/9th inf in 90days tour was finish there, some one drop a bomb on me (1982 Orders) don't know how or why it happen, i was transfer out in 5days never for get it hated the US-Army for that part of my life and was told don't go back to Korea for no reason do so i was ban from going back?. man i was so mad at the US-Army it was not funny from that day on the US-Army was shit to me, i did not care for it that much stay in for 10yrs 77-87 i was ask if i like to go up in rank i said no thanks i stay as i am. left it unhappy man from the US-Army. it not totally bad but there are some real jerks in there that all they would do is get a kick out of is shit on some one to get a cheap laugh.

that would be my lowest point in my life. i still love that women but i can't ever see her any more. if i see her this day and if she ask me to marry her without a word i would rush to do so.

i never been marry till this day and still not marry, will in my heart i am marry to her, on paper it not so wish it was.

1996. My first love called me back after deciding she did love me after all.
Hell of a year, holidays and making plans and going out and all the good stuff.
One day my Parents were coming over so I met them at my place and we headed over.
This girl was a hell of a cook and I was looking forward to some top steak and great wine.
Unusually the door was locked so I banged on it inordinatley hard shouting, Come On you stupid woman open up!!!!

The door was answered by a little old lady I had never met before. She said that Julie had collapsed and was in hospital.
When I got there she was awake but said she had the worst headache in the world.
Thirty Six hours later and she was comatose after a brain operation went a bit wrong.
She didn't wake up for three months. Had to have a tracheostomy to breath and a PEG tube in her stomach to feed.
We were told she would never wake up the damage was so bad.
Those first couple of days in Neurology ITU were the worst of my life.

As far as I am aware she is OK now. Last time I saw her she was at home and looking after herself but not yet back to work.
Shortly after she had been discharged she decided she didn't want me around.

I'm sort of in Chiefs shoes here in that so far she is the love of my life and I was denied through no fault of my own (or hers). I could go and see her though but I worry that if she never completley recovered, me turning up and telling her all about my life and my children and everything I never had with her would upset her more than is fair so I stay away.

Those are truly sad stories Chief and ZZA.

For me and my wife is was the loss of our fisrt daughter Samantha who only lived 1 day and then passed away, we have never forgotten her and it bought us much closer together as a couple but it is a day I can never forget.

The strength of women never fails to amaze me to go through childbirth and survive seems like a miracle all on it's own to me, to go through that sad and awful loss and have 4 more wonderful children makes me thank god I have the wife I've got.

Worst was a few weeks ago when my Dad found out he might have lung cancer. A week after that, tests showed it wasn't lung cancer, but that week was by far the worst I've ever had.

Ohh that would suck. Cancer is the worst thing to have to go through...that and the loss of a loved one.

Yeah, for sure. It's always been a posibility with him because he smoked for 20-25 years. It's doubly scary because my great grandpa died from smoking and my great grandmother is dying of it (granted she's got some years on her though, lol).

hell me too only i was 10yrs old and sucking in the smoke to blow on a ant hill to bug them with, my father found me smoking he think, only i only taken into my mouth and blow-out onto the ant-hill to bug them ants. my father made me smoke a whole pack of them cigarettes only i had to breath it into my lungs by doing so got me hook onto them, at the time i was sick a day later i sneak a smoke here and there had the shacks.

i love to smoke and still do. thats how i got hook on smoking.

in my father case he got me hook on them. in a way it back fire. he dead now days

I never plan on starting...against my religion anyway...not to mention I have seen what it does to people. This one person I worked with was the same age as my mom and she looked like she was 20 years older than her because she smoked.

Not to mention she had to go to the hospital a lot, it was sad.

back in primary school when I had this wierd chest pain that seemed to drag on for over an hour, it felt like my chest was gonna burst, or like as if there was one of them aliens inside me lol and it was gonna shoot through
But the worst thing about it that still gets me to this day is that I dont even know what caused those pains or what they are. They still happen to this very day, only briefly, not like that hour. I felt like shit then.
