LAN problem

I get punted from LAN game after a minute or two of playing all the time. There are two of us playing and we both have the same versions of the game: Delta Force Black Hawk Down and no Team Sabre. I want to solve this so please help!

How are you playing? Are you both connected to another computer through a router? Or are you just connected to each other through a router? If it's the former, make sure that if the puter has a firewall, it's set correctly, and thgat its' server is running ok with settings etc. M guess tho is that u are running connected as the second option, in which case only the router can be the DHCP server, not the computers I think. It is probably something to do with that setup, or similar.

Scorp.

We are connected to each other through a router and both can play online. Yesterday we actually got it to work a couple of times. It punts the other player only like 4 times out of 5 games. I believe it tries to punt every time, at least it says on the screen punting punting punting, but sometimes it doesn't happen and we can play normally. It's just quite annoying to start again over and over...

It doesn't seem to matter whether we play coop or deathmatch or whatever.

For what it's worth, my wife and I play via LAN. She just loaded the same game as I, using the same disc, on HER computer. We work through a Linksys router and it works just fine. We only have one version of the game, loaded off the same CD. If you're working off two different discs (as in two completely different games), maybe you should try loading the game on both computers from the same CD.

Just a suggestion.
