Text size ***Solved***
Hey all,
I have an issue with a site I made. In IE some people have their text size set to different settings. But if its set to large it breaks up the images that make up the bg. Mine is set to medium. And it looks fine. If I set it to larger, then it breaks up the images as well. Is there a way to override the viewers text size so it doesnt do this anymore? Thanx for any help ![]()

If the user has it like that they probably need it that way so they can see things better.... i think if they watned to look at the design of your site they could just ctrl + (move mouse wheel) to change it

Try to change the text size on this homepage, or at phphq.net.. if your using IE you shouldnt be able to select the text size.

I'm able to select text size P. I made it huge, lol
The site I'm doing is a site that needs to "look" correctly made. If a user see's the site with large letters, it doesnt look correct, which is more important than letting the almost blind see the letters at the size they have set, lol Ty BeBop for your reply as well. ![]()

Dont forget that on alot of modern browsers you can zoom regardless of any settings, isnt an issue with most sites as your zooming in on the whole site, not just chaging the text size but it can on occasion cause probelms..
Attached is max zoom in Opera of some text at phphq.net, quality degraded to fit within attachment guidelines. |

People can change text size on any website by pressing Ctrl, then scrolling up or down on your mouses wheel.
