Cool New War of the Worlds movie!
Steven Spielberg is in the process of directing a new version of H.G. Wells classic sci-fi story The War of the Worlds starring Tom Cruise.

If it's like any of his previous movies and with a $200 million budget it should be, this will be a real blockbuster to watch!

Brilliant news. I love the original book, the musical and the old film, and I love Tom Cruise too. (bit gh3y but I can't help it)

The book by H.G. Wells is one of the best sci-fi books ever written in the genre.

As for the classic 1950's movie? That is one of those movies I have never ever grown tired of watching!!!!!

Hmm.
A very bad voice over man doing a poor version of the introduction.
Richard Burton cannot be replaced. As a teaser that attempt put me right off.

Yes I think Ill stick to my Audio CDs version, I think Steven Spielberg has ruined it with what I have seen so far, I saw 2 or 3 different trailers a few months ago.
