Are you using a router? If so you need to open the port in order to host. I had help getting mine set up to host on dflw.
So I am no help there but I am sure if you are using a router and you type what make and model it is I am sure some one here can help you. If you are not using a router it may be yor firewall not allowing you to host.

I turned off and unpluged my router and just used my DSL 52OO SpeedStream Modem so i don't think there were any firewalls up at all i did the port forwarding 17478 to NovaWorld and still no one was able to join my game is there anything else you tell me that may help my OS is win,xp pro,
im useing a dell 4400 pen,4 prosesor 256 mg ram rage video adaptar HELP!!!!
