Cost of War
We went on this site in economics class today, thought i'd share it with you all. It's a running accurate ticker on how much we are spending on the war in Iraq. The numbers are mind boggling. There are also links on how many years we could have fully funded global anti-hunger efforts with the money spended, how many years we could have fully supported the AIDS program, and immunized the world for. Browse the site, click the links, see how much the war is actually costing us. Even shows how much it costs per person/household.

Excellent thread Trilogy, it was scary to see how much money the war is costing and how the money may have been better spent esle where.

The rate that the figures were changing was alarming to say the least!
