the game was not made for NVIDIA update driviers Version 61.77 they have same setup as i do and their NVIDIA driviers is 61.76 that was funny the tech told me they have to look into it to whats is new
same setup:
Windows Xp pro (oem)
Dx 9.b
GeForce 4 Mx 440
sound card is the same too.
the tech told me he runs his at 640x???
Ram was good too.
pent4 1400mhz

they had no clue why it screen laging they did say BHD/TS is another type of game as for JOTR it a alnew type of game it run in a new way that BHD/TS don't run like it at all they don't work the same way at all.

basic everything was the same as my system setup and hardware. the tech had me lookup my drivers and their driver and my were not the same. for windows Xp it 61.77 (my) their's 61.76 what i read in NVIDIA drivers 95/98/ME is 61.76 and windows Nt4 is 61.76 but windows 2000/Xp is 61.77

i was hoping to get the FPS speedup help botton line no help 10min on the telephone. got no then working better i even turnoff everything still no good. Alt/Delete/Ctri turn items off this did no good.

i ran: Ad-aware 6.0 and Spybot - Search & Destroy and even HijackThis totally clean.

will maybe next year i'll try this game again. i really think it has to many bugs in it.

I may still be able to play it only as a sniper/engineer. Not up close FPS really go down to 2-8fps really bad almost to a point it lockup.

will i call them again today:
their view on FPS 8-20 is really good (they said this)
the tech told me this: the reason for it is the map size the terrain is so big it will make it have screenlag this is normal(what? i am thinking).

ok so bottom line if you buy it and you can't play it at all any good return the game don't regsiter it only the key-code update it. now try the training part of it use the gunner training part of it you get screenlag and don't like to get a headack trying to make it work put the Cd back into the case and return it asap most case your store will take it back before 72hrs are up.

to test Screenlag: Press: ~ type: fps Hit: enter
upper right you should see in lime green 14fps ..mx....cpu and so on. it is below 20fps try to set it really low settings and try again still no good return the Game before it to late you get stuck with it.

i have BF: 1942 it has no screen lag as in JOTR as.

Added Note: you ever seem to back step as you run forward it a anit-cheat lag, they are running when the info (data) being send in if their server don't see the data it will back step you to a point it knows were you was. seem there is a cheat of some type call lag-cheat this is a new one on me the nova-tech told me of it.
