Messy Wave

1.Make sure your color settings is at default (D) Then go to Filter>Render>Clouds.
2.Once you have done that go to Filter>Artistic>Rough pastels.
Use the settings:- Stroke Length-6, Stroke Detail-4, then leave the rest as default.
3.Duplicate the layer, then go to Filter> Distort>Wave
Use the settings:- # of generators-2
Wavelength-Min-62 Max-141
Amplitude-Min-57 Max-113
Horiz-91% Vert-100%.
Check- Sine & Wrap around edges. OK
4.Set the mode to lighten, then merge down.
5.Duplicate the layer, Do step 3 again(Cntl+F),And set the mode to lighten again .Merge down
6.Duplicate the layer, Go to Filter> Distort>Twirl, Angle= -346.
7. Now go to Filter> Distort>Polar Co-ordinates, and check polar to rectangular.
8. Set mode to lighten, merge down.
9. Now duplicate the layer, and set mode to color burn, set opacity to roughly 75%. Merge down.
10.And you are practically done, Just use color now, I used color balance and the result I got was this.


If it isn’t exactly the same, it doesn’t matter too much, if you do it again you will prob still get a diff, but similar outcome. I got one like this too.

I didnt use wrap around in ^that one^ :-/
