NASA
When NASA first started sending up astronauts, they quickly discovered that ball-point pens would not work in zero gravity.
To combat this problem, NASA scientists spent a decade and $12 billion developing a pen that writes in zero gravity, upside down, on almost any surface including glass and at temperatures ranging from below freezing to over 300 C. The Russians used a pencil. Enjoy paying your taxes, they're coming due again.

do you know that the US-Army tell MFG to make a tool it has to be by the detail so these MFG's make a cheap already made tool and tell them it cost 2million dollares to make it so. way to go ehheheh there area lot of dummies in the US-Army pay out big bucks for something they can get at a store at so much cheaper and if it break buy a new one from that store nope they reorder a new one for USD-400.99c for what a 1/4in sucket or a set at USD-800.00 without the tools to use them with. its really no then new the Goverment has a butch of dummies.
on a good note US-Goverment did do a check on these MFG and some of them did get busted for it.

NASA and the U.S. aren't alone in wasting money my friends, the British government tried to develop an airborne early warning system similar to AWACS. The only problem was that after 6 billion had been spent and the system kept getting interference from CB radio's, they scrapped it and bought AWACS instead which they should have done in the first bloody place!!!!
