*** WWII Normandy 1944 ***

First off, I'd like to thank the maps made by Kip Kilagan and some of the *PR* squad that made these great WWII maps and I've come to think to start hosting them. I will soon have a server up called ! Normandy1944 , hopefully I can get the stuff in by the 12 midnight of 12/11/2003. It will be TDM. On DFBHD. Come drop by and have some fun. Planning to have some fun! And again I'd like to thank Kip Kilagan and some of the *PR* squad of making these great WWII maps.

hi, nice that you like the idea and the maps

first of all i want tell you that the success was done with the Normandy mappack and the Normandy score.ini
if you want host any other maps then please not with the servername we were inventing and making a trademark on BHD...thank you

additional to that a good connection and server should
give your clients a good home...remember that the maps are build for 20+ players

best case 28 - 50 players

i will give to dfhq member StevieB the newest mappack with all maps, old ones that are overworked and the newest ones...ask StevieB about that...

about the mappers that have worked on the Normandy map-pack

special thanks to devilsclaw who made this success possible with his 50 player hosting tool master-addon which we have been using over 4 month

special thanks to Conda from www.condascode.com
giving us the trust to test his beta versions of SM and RM
with great success and help for our admins

special thanks to Atomic for hosting the Normandy*PR* stats and
another Normandy1944 NI server for 50 players which was same successfully then the original server

both servers got on high times 2500 clients daily...actually you can say that over 350.000 clients joined the servers last 6 month with confirmed over 20.000 different names!

but you need a good connection and hardware...i saw a 50 player server from Hungaria and it is always empty...after
asking people why they do not go there they told me too much CI`s...
so people dont look only on the name...they know very fast the difference between the Normandy servers..

regards
SH*PR*

changes the scoring method of the game.
i dont have hte specific details but compaired to the standard game you get more points for reviving players and capturing PSP's, and less points for sniping.

just trying to balance the gameplay a little and make ppl more active rather than sniping

the score.ini is the file responsible for scores

and every server is able to set it up like host wants

today some people asked about how the exp. points are set on the Normandy1944 server

here you see the score.ini (section TDM)

you must be aware that the BABS Stats got other indicators
to give you awards...but the overall experience points are
