UKVS Banner Competition - Win Cash!

Now that UKVS has been entered into other leagues, the demand has come that we have some graphical representation of the squad to be posted on the sites hosting the actual tourneys.

I enjoy graphical production but as my example above shows, I am not the best at it.
I am not happy with the one that is currently in use either so in consultation with General Glad264 I have decided to throw open this particular avenue of design to our good friends in the DF-HQ forums.

Anyone can enter a UKVS siggy. Then, depending on the interest, I will select a number of the best and display them in a poll in this the ~VS~ public forum.
The sig that gains the most votes will win the designer a Tenner UK money.

Rules are simple.[list=1][*]Size of graphic MUST be 340 X 60 pixels.[*]Graphic MUST be either JPG or GIF format.[*]The UKVS Icon (shown below) MUST be in the sig.[*]The web address of the UKVS site AND some sort of reference to the squad name MUST be included on the sig.[*]Closing date for entries will be the First February 2002.[*]Decision made on which sigs are to be voted upon is final and no correspondence will be entered into.[*]Winner will be required to E-Mail Zza1pqx with their home address on declaration of the win. Please do not enter if you are not prepared to give out this information.[*]A single Ten Pound Sterling Bank Note will be sent to the winners home address.[*]Copyright of Graphic will be transfered to UK~VS~ squad.[*]All losing sigs will remain the copyright of entrants. And will be deleted from the UK~VS~ FTP.[*]E-mail the sigs to zza1pqx@uk-gamers.com. Any entries posted in the forums will NOT be entered into the competition as the vote will be dependent on the graphics and not the popularity of the designer.[*]There is no limit to the number of entries a designer can submit as long as designers adhere to the rules. Save this image for use in your entries.
Use it as you wish, resize, tranlucency etc. It must be recogniasable as the UKVS logo though.

Include this address in your entries.

(an address without the http:// will be acceptable but remember there are no WWW in this)

Include a textual reference to UKVS in your entries.
All these will be acceptable.

thanks ... 411 is an American slang term meaning "information" if one uses the telephone and dials 411 he/she will get the information operator. We (Americans) are always looking for a way to shorten things up (lol)
