Joint Operations On hold

Calabasas, Ca (April 28th, 2004) – Entertainment software developer and publisher NovaLogic, Inc. today announced that the squad based, large scale multiplayer combat title Joint Operations: Typhoon Rising, will now be released in early summer, 2004.



Set in Indonesia in the near future, Joint Ops is set to be one of the largest multiplayer FPS games ever released. Developed using NovaLogic’s enhanced Black Hawk engine, with superior multiplayer technology, gamers will experience the smoothest 150+ player games ever played, even with a 56K connection.



In Joint Ops gamers will join the ferocious struggle between Joint Operations Forces and Indonesian Rebels, where team work is essential for survival and ultimate victory!



· Explosive 150 + player games! Play in games of over 150* players online via NovaWorld®, or host up to 32 player games online or over a LAN.

· 29 Land, Sea & Air Drivable Vehicles – Cut through the water in a Mark V boat, rain hell fire from above, while piloting an AH-6 Little Bird, or smash the domineering Stryker through enemy territory and a lot more!

· Take out the enemy & defend with valor with 35 modern-day weapons! Deliver a deadly long range message with a shoulder fired Stinger missile, or kick-ass at close range with the M4 rifle with optional M203 grenade launcher.

· HUGE unprecedented jungle environments! Wage war across maps that span up to 64KM2, with viewing distances up to 1KM

I got this news from Novaworld site. I believe they are saying June or July. This is thier way of saying they are not sure what month it will be out in.

What you have to think of is, they havent had such a big beta test with any DF game, So with all the beta testing going on a deley will mean a lot less Glitches by the time its released.

yea i remember them terrain and buildings that still never was fixed at all, beta testing for it and the Tech says it will be fix what a lie that turn out to be.
over i love it still its 95% great minner gliches that Nova was to lazy to get them fix in the demo or the full virsion. they was reported and still never fixed.

BeBop I think the Beta Testers for BHD were done in house by nova staff, As There was no News or Signups for BHD beta testing.

The way they are doing it now, You will find JO will be a lot better...(I HOPE.)lol
