WW2 map project for BHD

Hello everyone i'm HunteR~§c§~!
I have started to work on a WW2 map-pack.
It shall contain 4 campains:
1. Blitzkrieg
2. North Africa
3. Estern front (Sovjet)
4. Normandy

I will make 4-5 maps on every campain, for now i only made 2 maps Sword Beach and Stalingrad, you can see screenshots here.

The Project will work slowly becouse theres only 1 worker :hmm:

wow who cares about world war 2 i must say that era is over done by games plus they r a ton of world war 2 games at wal-mart why should we have more? especially for bhd?

because its WW2 with a car 15 and AT4 in your hands instead of some smith and wesson thing (probably wrong about that gun) and a thompson sub machine gun, you can have a m60

hope you will have success but I am burned out on this
and am waiting for TS or JO to do something new....

if you want send me your Normandy maps I would
review them if they fit to the server concept for hosting...but only maps without events

This map-pack will be didicated to the WW2 mod project that will start after the tools are relised.
But ill try to chose out the maps without events and special efects so they will be used as regiular BHD maps.
That way you can host the mappack if you like it.

i think the ideaa of an m60 in a world war 2 game ruins the effect of it being a ww2 theme i am not bashing this project just wondering why everyone is in to this? i see games like medal of honor and battlefield 1942.when are we gonna get something that takes gaming to the next level? could it be joint ops that does it? it might at least i hope it does but from there whats next? a ww2 map pack for it with heat seeking rocket lauchers or big hovercrafts.all i am saying is
keep it real the only 1942 gun thats even in BHD is the colt 1911 handgun 45cal. the m16 is the next oldest and it was not introduced til vietnam.i can understand this mappack what i can't understand is why novalogic is keeping all the sdk to them selfs u could render new ww2 weapons and make a simple map pack into a mod? don;t blame me blame novalogic for being greedy with their software.

First of all, i did this only for fun...its always nice to see new things on BHD. Yes you see alot of WW2 games out and most of them have mods that reprisent modern age weapons and veichles. I called this mappack for a mod becouse there are files you need to have so you can see the artelery shells going of on the beach. Then the tools come in... To make the BHD Map as realistic as posable i will need skins from a team that Sal UK started. I do this becouse i have played same stuff for 1 year... running across streets in mogadishu.
This is taking the game to a next level...a WW2 expirience with the game you know and play best.

Cool... i hope when the modding tools come out that there is mods for other wars like Vietnam, Korea, WW1 etc as well

I like the idea of maps based on Korea as it is often thought of as the "forgotten" war.

Would like to see WW1...reload after 1 bullet...crawling trough trenches...storm the enemy's trench lol.
After you see Joint Ops and TS you won't need Vietnam mod, all maps that are submitted will be called something with vietnam! Happy new Year mates...Hope this year goes well for NovaLogic and the rest.

guy read you history books the M60 came from the German Army back in WWII the American add it to their Amry reason it like to shot hot lead. i lrean that in the US-Army when they show us how to use them basic the American Army updated it but most of it is still the same as it was back then.

lol the m60 is german but was not offically introduced into the american army until the early 60's due to over heating problems it went under serveral versions theres a new version called m60ae2 which is used today because it has better cooling properties. and about ur history books only tell u what they want u too hear.

it came from Germany guy us-army got it from them and thats a fact and yes they updated a lot. but now days it only a support weapon. the SAW M249 have taken the M60 place in the Battlefield,
