HELP me plz

Hi, I have a question to ask about my Delta Force: Black Hawk Down.....When the new update came out I downloaded it and when I click on Multiplayer then join and it takes about a minute to load and when it is done loading a white screen comes up saying (The page cannot be displayed: An error occurred while trying to open this page) and i tryed hosting but then it says (An unknown error has occurred please try again. If you continue to see this message,plaese contact NovaLogic Technical support) but the update works because i tryed single player and it works fine with all the updated stuff, at first i thought it had something to do with the connection but i can go on AOL just fine and I played Delta Force: Task force Dagger multiplayer fine and i also played Delta Force: Land Warrior and the multiplayer thing was fine......If u can help me please do so..and i have mailed this problem to Nova support but they never get back to me

sounds like ur update didnt work...coupldu get online with it b4 the update?

its not my update i played single player and the update had worked and yes i could play multiplayer befor i updated

It sounds as if your Firewall is blocking access to net.
If your using ZA while it is trying to connect do ALT-TAB to drop bhd down and allow it access.

If your using XP them it maybe the built in firewall someone else would have to help here though as I dont use the XP firewall.

To quickly test if it is the firewall close it down, test if the game works if it does that is where you problems are..

thxs ill try that but how do i turn off the firewall? and wats a ZA? and if u have AOL or AIM post ur screen name so u can help me easyer and faster

No I dont have AOL or AIM sorry m8.

OK ZA=Zone Alarm firewall.

It is not recomended to leave your firewall off, As it leaves you open to hackers just thought I would mention that.

But here is how to turn off Win XP firewall:

Q. How do I enable or disable the Windows XP Internet Connection Firewall?

A. Click Start, Control Panel, double–click Network Connections, select the Internet connection, Network Tasks, Change settings of this connection, Advanced tab, Internet Connection Firewall, uncheck or check the Protect my computer and network by limiting or preventing access to this computer from the Internet check box.

if i were u i would reinstall the game and do the update over but get it through this site instead of through the game

yeah usually reinstalling works wonders dude.... try it out (dont forget to update again after that)
