using dialog with othello's dialog editor

I downloaded the LWDlgref and when i click on the application, i get the error message "DF-LW not installed" i've tried this in my onboard installation and through the steam installation and get the same message. I would like to use this to create my own maps with dialogue, any help out there?

If you have your game installed in a "C:\Program Files*" folder, you might run into other issues when using some of the older tools. When a file is modified inside the Program Files folder, the actual modifications are stored in a Virtual Store such as "C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\VirtualStore" ...

Best to install NovaLogic games outside of the Program Files folder if you're running into issues where programs can't locate files.
