I'm new to Land Warrior and wanted to play online. All my friends are using DFLW but they told me not to update it so i can play with them. When i try to play online it tells me that i must update. Is there any way around this??

YES!

make a copy of the original dflw.exe file and rename it original_dflw.exe or something

then update ur game.

you will have 2x .exe files.

click original_dflw.exe when u want to play with ur m8s
and click dflw.exe when u want to play online


or get ur m8s to update their games

I just tried that, the original_DFLW, and doenst work. The updated version works though.
still would like to play without updating though.

hmm, this is what i do for every game i own. i never update or anything without making a copy of the original .exe file.

u say it doesn't work - what happens?

which version are your m8s running 1.o37 etc
if you know that then maybe you can get that update direct

It says original_DFLW has encountered a problem and must shut down...........I will check and see what version they are using not sure.

i`ve checked all my old back up discs m8 and the only thing i can find for .31 was the no cd patch your welcome to it if you want it m8 just let me know ya email and i`ll send it over

look bud ask your game buddies to do a file transfer you a copy of that update DF:LW Vr 31 (they have to have it to play that Vr .31) to you ether by icq is good at it or msn-messager or even email if you don't have a limite on it.
