MYSQL remotely?

Im building a site for a guy, and his site only lets him have 3 mysql's so im putting them on my site, but how od i access teh mysql on that one??? the ip adress isnt working...

Why cant he use one of the 3? i have one and thats plenty enough for everything i do. And i think u need the port to it witch would be something like 25.258.269.2:80 long time it did that tho so try to look in the mysql and php documentation

You will need a create a new user in your phpmyadmin and allow his IP to connect to your mysql. create the user with all the privilages and stuff, then change the host to his IP.

nvm gang, i called my hosting co. they dont allow that for a reason, having MySQL open through an ip is a large security hole.

**NEWBIE**i thought 3 would be fine dont you just have to createa new table?

3 is fine so long as you dont have any tables with the same name in the database, if you do pick another name
