Trying to imitate real life on the screen...

Games have to bring things within reach.

Frostbite2 graphics have improved the players sight out to great distances but not enough if the camper is in cover and you are spawning on the docks with a mile of water between you and the sniper. you just cannot have the same senses working on a screen no matter how good the graphics and sound.

Tonight there was a camper/sniper behind my team spawn area (BF3 TDM)

So the sniper had us pinned down and besides which we really needed to go the opposite way...

Soon the spawn point hogger types will have all the maps worked out and that will be the end of it.

Games like BF3 need a multiplayer editor.

We are not asking for the b.... code.
A module based editor.
Like Radiant, which has no AI control but has added capabilities like terrain building and placeable assets.
