you need to disable system reboot option sounds like
start> control panel> System> Advanced down down the listing you should see "System startup, system failure....." click-on setting to the right of it [settings] a new window should popup uncheck " [X] automatically restart " click-on ok from there on click-on ok till your back to desktop and try to play the game again some times windows don't know how to handle games being play and reboot the system off the back, many disable this to save headaches
