son of a bugger.

i filed numerious complaint with AT&T repair services over the last 2 years about my connection geting so slow and being so unstable, and about being shafted when i try to get it resolved, so i e-mailed the local BBB being AT&T is a member so i could get some info on what is going on with my connection.

well today my firewall has blocked 2 intrusion atempts by some1 at AT&T trying to get into my system, for what reason i dont know.

this is the only info that comes up in whois.

That must really suck... I remember being on 28k, that was bad enough... lol. Then we went to 56k, now ADSL.

File a complaint man, I'd suggest.

Try : http://helpme.att.net/index.php you can also try restarting your modem via whatever IP is written on the back of your modem. I had similar issue. The software restart for the modem worked where the hard restart/power cycle failed.
