Anyone know what this is?

I first saw this in Joint Ops, and I thought it was a pistol just attached to the hand stick at the end of a weapon (sorta like an M4 with a '203), but it seems like it ain't a sidearm.

I've seen it in other games like CoD4 but I dunno what it is.

Anyone know what it is?

It's the small rectangular thing to the left of the end barrel of the M4.

look like the hand grip is not set right with the weapon is all thats mount to the weapon upper part.

you can see the charter is holding it in the hand bottom come out right,, but the upper part is not set right to the weapon.
glitch don't know.

think the weapon needed to be longer for it to fit right with it
or it could be he holding two weapons a M4 & a 45cal pistal way it looks from the back side of it.

Looks like a glitch. The sidearm is appearing when it shouldn't. My guess anyway.

I don't think it's a glitch. I've seen the exact same thing in other games in the exact same position on the M4. I'm very very certain.

Actually, I think it might be this:

will chrispy

your SS is a bet fuzzy looking should look like this

it is part of the M4 think it the night scope or as you said flash light.

maybe Killerbee seen it or some of the combat guys out there can tell more about it, i think it a heads up display were you see with.is your video settings set on low? if so thats why it don't look right maybe.

ps don't ask why my has a beercan mounted underside of it, don't know part of Xtreme Operatives Mod skin for it mix-up should be a handle in there? but think some one was trying to make a M203 part of the M4 3di

more or less it maybe a laser site that beam a light on a target you see it on the screen were it landed onto shoot at.
i check my JOTR booklet it says no then at all about other then there is a version for M203 mount version to it. do have the box mounted on to it.

I didn't take the SS - I just got it from the net. Should've gotten a better pic. And I dunno why I attached it when I coulda linked to it lol.

Yeah it's probably a laser sight or something. But is it able to be used in JO? Otherwise that'll be just plain stupid if it can't be used in JO.

But it actually looks like a pistol attached to the end lol. If it was a pistol, it would be awesome!

Easy answer, its a aiming device for underslugs, like the M203. This particular aiming device looks alot like the Heckler and Koch model.

They only messed up, because the hand is holding a handgrip thats attached on the barrel.. And it has a aiming device fir the underslug.. Which isnt quite possible to use at the same time..

Its a laser sight for a SOPMOD M4A1, not sure what the name of it is though. I beleive it has an infrared or is it ultraviolet light diode below the laser for close range night vision thats invisible to the human eye but not night vision goggles yet looks like a flashlight using night vision.

The red dot on the scope? Hmm, I thought that was from the scope itself - not the laser sight.

Because in BHD, the CAR15, etc. don't have it, and yet have a red dot...
