Command and Conquer 3

Anyone bought this game yet?

IGN has given it an 8.5/10, and an IGN AU rating of 9.0/10.

Gamepro has given it an average user score of 4.8/5, and an average critic score of 4.5/5.

Looking foward to GameSpot's review, as they're pretty tough on reviews. Let's see if they'll give this a pretty high rating... :P

According to the system requirements, it will be able to run this computer except, I don't have a DVD-drive. However, you can always take the game to a friend's house (who has a DVD-drive), then copy the install to their computer, and get it on the HDD, and bring the HDD and CD back to your house... lol.

Legend has it that EA has bribed several review sites to give the game good scores in order to rake in the sales. C&C3 or not, it just doesnt capture my attention.

And here's a mass debate on the whole thing.

http://www.petroglyphgames.com/forum...showtopic=2682

Of all threads about C&C3 on this forum, this is probably the one that has succumbed to the most heated of disputes. Ive pitched in to them also.

To me, C&C3 just is a revamped Generals rush-fest. Pile of crap even. I'd rather play games i already have than worry about anything from EA...my two cents...

You could be right about a bribing. Because look at this... GameSpot gave C&C3 a 9/10... and it's hard to imagine they would... Are they even allowed to bribe the reviewers? What dicks if they did...

Okay, here is my opinion on things...

I don't think A LOT (when I mean this, I mean A LOT) of people are gonna buy C&C3. Why? Because, why would they want to buy it when it was made by EA? And then you're gonna think, what's wrong with EA? Well, for those of yous who don't know, they made C&C Generals... which a lot in the community didn't like. Why didn't they like it? It didn't feel like a C&C game. But look at this, they may have stuff up on Generals, but I don't think they stuffed up on C&C3. Just my opinion, regardless of whether I've played the game or not (no I haven't played the game, probably will never get it... because I never get anything).

Don't try and argue with me, because I'm not here to argue.

Now I hope GameSpy get a review up on this, because for some reason I like them the most...

They're EA. They have the big bucks, of course they can do it. They probably arent aloud, but its all a matter of proving this (a lot of people have pointed out inconsistancies in game reviews in that forum i linked).

A mate of mine bought the game the other day. A lot of people have said they have it or are getting it. These people are the ones who have no knowledge of what the game has in it, havent played the first generations of C&C, or just dont care.

To hell with EA and their garbage.
