You have to much going on with no real theme to it imho.

I say take the tech border off, make it so we understand what is the picture in the middle. The nervous text doesnt fit with stroke. Just to much going on at once

Kats right, heres whats wrong with it to me:

- No depth (looks like you drew it all on one layer)
- Nothing is really visiable, a little color here, a little color there, some image on overlay.
- Border, before attempting a border like that, just stick with the simple and plain ole 1 px black border untill ya get a little more experience.
- Text, well its got nothing to it really, its plain, it has no effects, seems blury

Try this, and see the difference:
- Start off with a plain white or black background
- Add in an image
- Use the eyedropper tool and select a color you like of your image that would serve as a good background.
- Paint bucket the background with the selected color.
- Grab some grunge brushes (www.conscell.com if you dont have any )
- Beneath the image layer and above the background layer make a new layer and brush with colors that match the image, use the eye dropper tool again if you need to.
- Repeat the above step using different colors and different brush's. If you want to take it further experiment with the layer settings, just dont get to off course, remember you want the signature to have a theme, and flow, with depth.
- Text time, select a good text, such as arial, set the size to 18, the aa to smooth, and use a color that matches the signature. (If sig was green you would pick maybe a green font, maybe white to make it stand out)
- Double click the text layer, when the effects menu pops up add a black drop shadow to it. Maybe even a gradient!
- Make a new layer above all and add a 1 px black stroke.

If ya want try this, it will really help, and if you manage to pull it off ill teach you some more things like blending the image.

Hope this helps in some way Forsaken.

yea it help abit with the color. this sig is 4-5 layers. i used curve and color settings like highlight and darkness. i am used to makin mono sigs so putting muti color is abit different for me. my problem is i am used to using 2 basic colors black and white mainly. then i will change the color with color setting and that makes a great mono sig and if i wanted color i use highlights to give me color. i will try what you have posted and see what i can come up with. thx again.
