can anybody either tell me how to make a php site or give me a good link to a site with good toturials, or can somebody make me 1 for free??

if u cant make me one for free, where is the best place to download the scripts for it?

i downloaded some fomr php.net and i couldnt figure out how to work them so i deleted them...and after i download them how would i upload the site and to where?

well to make a php site you need to know php... would help...

php nuke does php sites which are easy to edit, i think..

It would probably be easier if you got a CMS (Content Managment System) such as PHP Nuke or Mambo etc

There was a PHP PDF book posted in this forum. Look for it and play with PHP. You'll learn that more instead of asking all over the place.

People are willing to help if you have something to show. or be ready to pay some to get the site done

Oh and stay away from PHP-Nuke. It can be hacked.

in all honesty it truely bugs me when people get php mixed up. PHP is not scripts such as PHP_NUKE, PHP_NUKE just runs on PHP. PHP is programming. I'd suggest u learn and mess around with PHP, read the PHP manual on www.php.net. Learn it well, and use www.php.net/quickref.php to check often.

If you have no desire to do it right, and make ur own CMS, use e107 or ocPortal. Use something good, not PHP_NUKE. PHP_NUKE is good, but you have to have a large knowledge of web security, etc, to make it work good.
