Only two weeks ago there was a report that said people from the working class "ethnic" minorities were not doing as well academically as their white counterparts and were becoming so disilusioned that they were joining extremist groups?

Now this report says the exact opposite so if this report is true why join any extremist group if you can make a good life here in the U.K.?

my theroy is that the "smarter" you are the more likely to think about the system/establishment and how it could be improved.

Given that what is done by "terrorists" is what they percieve to be "right" and for the benefit of humanity, it should come as any suprise that they are smart people.

This is backed up by the fact that it tends to be the learned/smarter people who are considered the swing voters in elections, average Joe Blow is likely to be 1 of the about 70% of the population that votes along party lines reagrdless of any policy.

Pull up election statistics state by state and you find usually that its the states with the highest average IQ that will vote for the more *looking for right word* reformist party.

I am not saying that any smart ethic minority member is going go grow up and try to blow things up, nor am i sayiong that the folks in the study in the article above will....

I hate to say this but I no longer believe a word the BBC says on things like this as one report or other contradicts the previous report and the BBC never lets the truth get in the way of a good story!
