Well maybe they figure they can drive the price down.

Sounds like a good idea if you know how to safely store gasoline....stock up and spend less.

will they are not too smart buying more fuel make the stock market go up more then fuel price go higher. man dummies.

smart thing to do is not to waste fuel use less and price go down.

Not really they will have a load of fuel so the gas companies will need to drop the prices to stop people from doing it.

there is a problem with just stocking up on gas, back in the late 70s early 80s they changed how fuel was manufactured, and stoped putting in the additives that would make for a long storage life to prevent any1 from doing it.
the way u would have to stor it would be , u would have to add a large ammount of stabilizer so it would have a storage life of more than 9-10months.

Baddog m8, Buy a horse Hay is much cheaper than petrol, And no need to mow the lawn he will do it for you as well as make you some top grade soil when he deficates..

I dont really worry about the fuel, People have got to lazy these days.
I mean look at the lazy gits that drive to the corner shop that is normally 100 yards down the road, We survived for thousands of years without using Oil, It would not be so hard to go back to horse and carts, OK we would not have those Cheap imports But atleast everything would be locally made.

I was watching something the other night and they went though what people were saying and one was saying without oil we will go back to a village existance, I would not mind that one bit.

Mind you I just think I was born a few thousand years to late, I would have loved to have lived in those days.

ok, no tractor to plow the feilds means u have to use an ox or something and work ur butt off.
no car to go 50miles to work, for a horse is a slow means of transportation, witch means u would lose a job any distance over 20miles away.
a car u dont have to worry bout bucking at the slightest noise and killing you, just some maitinence from time to time and the car works fine.
you have to keep freash hay for horses and have to keep it dry or hay born bacteria will kill the horse.
a car u put gas in it and drive just keep oil changed new filters, and ocasional tire change.
a horse if u live in a small community u have to keep after it and clean up its litter or u get complained about and the city officials come and clean it 4 u and bill you for it.
a car u keep it in the garage and no1 complains.
u think it smells now wait till u have a few thousand horses relevin themselves in the streets.
and yes people did live in the dayswhere there wasnt any oil ut there were fewer than a few million living then and every1 ran around going ugg uggg shreek ogieg boodoo. there has been use of oil for over 10,000 years.
and without any means of fuel for cars or trucks, the economy would take a dive for they wont beable to transport goods as efficently from place to place, yes they have trains and stuff but they are deisil, and steam powered ones would spew up so much smoke and stuff the EPA would shurly kill that idea.
so ill take my car, and tractor, for they are a lot less hasle than a horse and are still cheaper in the long run than a horse.
my dad has horses and i know how big of a hastle they can be and a car is a whole lot easier to deal with.

"Dropping your motorway speed from 80mph to 70mph reduces petrol consumption by up to 40 per cent. Don't brake sharply: it causes consumption to rocket."

Its also good to mention that you should run on the highest gear as long as possible and low rpms. And instead of saying dont brake sharply, tell people to motorbrake instead of using the breaking peadle (as long as possible of course)

In modern cars you should be able to run on the 5th gear as low as 30 mph without harming the engine and save alot of fuel
