Angry a church kick-out a member for voting for Senator Kerry

Saturday, May 7, 2005 Posted: 10:43 PM EDT (0243 GMT)

Quote:
Members of the East Waynesville Baptist Church were kicked out for not supporting President Bush.
a member of a church has voted out a member of their church for voting for Senator Kerry, now seem this member is going to sue this church for doing this.

the pastor of this Church had no hand in this the church broad are the ones who voted to have this member banned.

what you do if you was in this guy shoes?

even if he voted for Kerry or Bush this can happen to any one.

what is Caesar give to him what is owe to him and give what is owe to god.

voting for some one has no then to do with a church at all.

think Jesus Christ would be really mad for what this church did.

don't think they should have did this to this guy or his family at all.

think this guy should move on to a real church and not some dogma church at all.

9-members all were banned from this church for the same reason; they voted for Pres Bush.

eek

This is truly appalling Chief! No one should have the right to ban someone for the way the voted or who they chose to vote for and especially not anyone from a religious denomination!

Democracy is about our freedom to choose who we vote for and how we worship and the church, any church, should not try to influence that choice!

Warmest Regards

yea your right BADDOG
seem it getting out of hand what some people will do to others, i heard a guy got fire off his job for voting for Pres Bush and another person got fire off his work place for Voting for Kerry too. it really shameful what some will do.

Old saying never tell any one who you voted for! now we know why.

it sad it not limited to work place seems it in the church groups who will flame other for their god give right to vote, freedom to do so.

Cry

This doesn't surprise or shock me, I think its wrong but when you look back over history you find much worse things done in the name of the church. For instance there has been more violence in the name of religion than for any other reason, and anyone who would kill in the name of God is not someone I'd want to follow.

As for the story above, this guy is better off out of a group that likes to dictate how he should or shouldn't vote.
