I just received this message from my friend on Yahoo Messenger

looks like it's just a scam type thing.
your not gonna lose money etc, its just someone thinking they are cool and starting off a spam campaign.

I get those quite often.

I got one message saying that yahoo was going to have to close down because of not having enough availble names to give to new subscribers (think that is how it went, happend a long time ago)

I don't believe them unless it is posted on yim's site, in fact the above one was listed as a hoax on their site.

Yea i got one saying that if i wanted to keep my yahoo free i must send this message to everyone on my list and it said rom Yahoo Management team lmao i deleted it

But the one i posted is someone who may add you to there list and want u to so they can give u a virus!!!!!!!

some times you get a link to a file to check out it those type of messages i would lookout for, text message most part or no then more then a joke. like some one say check out my image here: httt : pp//uhfwfd.com/rfo/1.jar.html

it a trick same as it was like this redhat.exe.zip it will act like a .exe so you have to be watchful on these type of thing don't go for combo items as in name.exe.html or 2.rar.zip.html it will open before you now what hit you.

my old time one i remember is: check to see if you already gotting a virus search HHD for aol.exe if you find it delete it fast before it download a worm. think. been a long time any way AOL got flooded with people calling saying their AOL was no longer working.

MSN Messager i was talking to a buddy who step away for 2min as he was gone a virus would say to me checkout this out then it would ask if i would like a file trasnfer to rec-it only it did it like 8x in a roll. always double check with the party ask them why they are sending a file to you, if they say no i did not then they do have a virus and let them know of it.

2 girls saying if u wanna see me on webcam live go here uve talked me into getting my number go to this link then i wondered after clicking soon after my aol got flooded and stopped working said it couldnt find aol.exe or so on to start it up. So i just redownloaded aol after i unistalled it!!!!!!!It must of got flooded with a worm!!!!!!!!!
